I have been using this Product for 45+ years now and I must tell you "THIS IS NOT THE ORIGINAL JERGENS FORMULA!" Jergens is the Only brand Ive used for years, and mind you I Have Tried many Others in cases of Emergency, trying to Find the Same texture and ease of Applying without that Sticky Nasty Feel but Jergens had that Special formula that was not duplicated. Jegens has apparently become a Cookie Cutter Formula following Suit with all those Brands that Leave you feeling like a Piece of "Fly Tack Paper" Jergens was Unique in its Brand, but now Its just another Junk Product that I will Never Purchase Again. I have used Jergens Original Cherry Almond Scent for many years. Unfortunately, I have developed a chemical allergy contained in many products. After using a product with the chemical (to name one phenoxyethanol) I have terrible breathing difficulties. This product over the last 10 years has changed its ingredients 3 times. The first two changes it was safe for me to use the product. The third change they added the chemical phenoxyethanol which I am severely allergic to. I wish they would change it back to the 1st original product with the old ingredients. I depended on this product so much and used it for everything. I loved the older product. I wish they would change it back to the way it was. I am now trying to search out a new product without the certain chemicals I cannot use which is very hard to find. Very disappointed because I love and depended on this product. See more

The new version of this lotion is awful! I have used the original scent Jergens lotion for 20 + years and loved the consistency and feel of the lotion. The old formula went on smoothly, had great absorption, and left my skin feeling light and silky. It was the perfect moisturizer for my skin. The new lotion makes me feel sticky and does not go on as smooth. I do not like the feel of it at all. Definitely not a positive change. BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL. Heres a clue. . . if a product has been around this long and there is still a huge consumer base and the product is selling . . . dont mess with it! People obviously like the product the way it is! Same scent but definitely NOT the same product. The new formula leaves a residue that feels like a plastic coating on my skin. It sits on the surface and I can feel it slide off when I wash my hands. It reminds me of a product I used to coat and protect hands when using industrial fabric dye. Most unpleasant. Will not buy it again. Please bring back the original formula.

This product has changed, and I dont like it. I grew up with the original scent and I loved it. It was smooth and the perfect consistency. The new lotion feels sticky and the scent is not like it used to be. So disappointing!!!! Jergens needs to reconsider this change and go back to what we all know and love. I wont be buying this new product again. They have lost my business. Bring it back!
