I have used Nivea body lotions for years and have liked them all. However, one of my favorites was Smooth Daily Moisture body lotion with shea butter until the name was changed to Shea Daily Moisture 48hr a year or so ago. The ingredients seem to be the same except in a different order. I have used three containers of the lotion since the name change and the lotion has been thinner in all of them. In addition, even though I use it daily, the dispensing hole gets dry and the next morning when I push the plunger down, the lotion spurts all over my dressing table and makes a mess. I will not purchase this formula in the future. See more

I used my sample about 12 hours ago and the amount left on my hands is still at work, even though Ive washed them many times since then. It has a great texture, not greasy at all. However, it smells awful and is still making my eyes tear after all this time. I know that others like this sort of smell, but I cant imagine why. Why not make a good unscented lotion? I use Eucerin Plus, which is very similar but has no scent. Or why not keep the original Nivea Creme scent, which smells wonderful?
