After spending quite a lot on several toners (AFTER I lifted my hair twice with lightener, the only possible way to go from brown to blonde; for those people out there that just buy this box without any prior treatment) none of which worked, even on levels 8-10, I looked like a popsicle. I needed something to deposit a positive pretty blonde into the yellow tones and lighten the brassy Warner tones. This dye did what three toners couldnt. I knew ash always lifts brassiness from my hair. I love this line. I still have to do it once or twice more to remove the slight warm tones but at least I can be in public. Expensive toners have nothing on this line of permanents. See more

I used Loreal 6R for years and received compliments often. Everyone thought it was my natural color. I was born a strawberry blonde thats now mostly white. I took a leap of faith and tried the 6AB and wow its even better! It shines and is less flat of a color.

Ive been using this brand and this shade since 2009! Ive never had any issue or dye job gone wrong. I have natural dark strawberry blonde hair and it doesnt look good on me at all. When I decided to go a few shades darker, I chose 6AM. It was simple to do at home and my color always turns out gorgeous and shinny. The color last and last. Ill never use any other shade OR brand!

I have used LOreal Superior Preference for a long time and it is a terrific product. The conditioner provided leaves your hair so soft, shiny and nice smelling when you are done, the color is fabulous and lasts quite a long time before I need to re-color. ONE PROBLEM!! Walmart does NOT sell MY SHADE!! I use a gorgeous intense red called RR07 INTENSE RED COPPER WARMER ... Walmart needs to offer more shades in this great product!

I have been using Preference by Loreal in Extra Light Ash Blonde since I first dyed my hair in 1984!! I kid you not! Most people have no idea I actually had brown hair at one time and think Im joking Everytime I tell that to someone. Ive tried other brands, other colors and salon treatments but nothing looks more natural or keeps my hair as healthy as this product. I once dyed my hair back to brown for a solo trip where I thought it best not to stand out as a blonde and no one liked the brown and said, God must have messed up because you look better as a blonde! I do my roots once a month and luckily have never had too much trouble finding a box no matter where Ive lived. I switched.to the Creme version when it came out. I feel its not as harsh on my hair although for as long as Ive been USING Loreal, I have never had damage except for a few times in highschool and combo with Sun-In. Dont try it! I love this product and the company itself. The one thing I can count on as either a blessing or a curse, is the horrid amonia smell that after all these years still remains the same. Sorry but true! Its a blessing if you want to clear the house!! Thank you for not discontinuing this product and please never do! See more
