Not too oily, not too dry... does not enhance any wrinkles around the face. I do use a line filler under sometimes but it doesnt seem to really be necessary with this foundation. It really evens out the tone of my skin and covers light freckles.

I too have used this foundation for many years; however, the last two purchases definitely had unacceptable packaging/manufacturing problems!! The first problem was that I was almost NEVER able to open the container (really, really difficult even with tools) then when I did get it open, it was much less than the usual amount of product in the container. I needed it THEN, so accepted it as a glitch and moved on. Then the next purchase had a real issue with the sponge....so much so that it is not usable. It has hard edges on it....discolored and stiff when first opened. I tried to wash it out, did no good. Normally I would not go to the trouble of complaining wanting some resolution, but every time I look at this inferior sponge, it is upsetting. It is particularly upsetting that two purchase in a row have had definite problems. I am checking the yes I would recommend the product below; however, if another purchase is a messed up product, I would be reluctant to recommend..... can you please advise on this. See more

I have been buying this foundations for many many many years and love it!! However this purchase was not up to par with CG products.... was wondering if they have a new quality control company because this is not acceptable!

Whenever my Swedish relatives want to avoid discussions about politics or religion (which is ALL the time!) they ditch the topic by saying "Yes.....and No!" Thats how I feel about this product. I think Covergirl & Olay could be very good for women who can find the right shade and wear this type of make-up/compact foundation. I can only wear one store brand of compact foundation and I really hoped to find another..The ease of application is so appealing to me! I envy being able to wear the compact foundations successfully. Not to be for me! The porc.is to light,the classic ivory is SLIGHTLY dark and the natural ivory looks orange to me.The color selection is generous but the lights are sort of strange--clown white or more like really light beige??? However, the texture is lovely, its goes on smooth and not choppy. I noticed that Simply Ageless can slip(after some hours of wear) into face lines and troublesome pores.I tried to use Simply Ageless Foundation as a concealer only and THAT worked fairly well. Concealer colors are always a little light or unusual--like the corrector colors. I didnt like the product enough to toss the Lancome concealer Ive been using for years. Ill return this and chock it up to another product in the "I wish!" category! Thanks! See more

Love the way this foundation looks and feels on my face BUT I cant find a good shade. I have yellow/olive skin and tan fairly easily in the summer (but I stay pretty fair most of the year since I am in a colder climate). Normally I am a golden beige or natural beige color (as long as it has a yellowish undertone I can manage it) BUT neither shade 240 worked for me (too light) 255 (still a bit off) and 260 was too dark. I love that you all are cruelty-free, but we need some more shades here.
