I had tons of back up on the old HUGE 8.5 oz bottle and now nearing the end of my last one so had to get more. Now see that they shrunk it to a 2.2 oz and its the same price? COME ON ELF. Very disappointed which is why I brought my rating down from 5 stars to 3.
This product is great as it spot cleans your brushes after every look. Plus, it smells great! This helps the life time of your brushes, as you dont have to scrub much when shampooing your brushes. The small bottle goes a long way, I have to rebuy, but Ive had this one for at least 6 months.
I love this brush cleaner! Its a good price and works well! Let me tell you Im super happy that theyve changed the color of the packaging because multiple times, I sprayed it on my face as setting spray since the bottles look the same and were the same color.
If you have a chemical sensitivity, particularly a fragrance sensitivity, DO NOT USE! I cleaned my powder brush and it sat for a week between uses. I used my cleaned brush with my pressed powder and my skin got very itchy and broke out into blotchy hives all over my face & neck (not a good look). I know the reaction isnt from my powder because I have been using the same powder, ELF Tone Correcting Powder, for several years. I only wish this product was unscented & fragrance free... would hypoallergenic be too much to ask from a company that sells value cosmetics? See more
Not sure why everyone is complaining about the "horrible" smell? I think its great - it is very fresh and floraly, almost a cucumber scent. The only product I would describe as smelling "horrible" is the coty airspun powder, which smells like baby powder/grandmas lol. Even so, it is still tolerable, definitely off-putting but I would not describe as horrible. Back to this product though, it is great for daily cleansing. IT DOES NOT DEEP CLEANSE. That is the purpose of the shampoo. This is to wipe off old makeup. I think this product works great and leaves your brushes smelling fresh for the next use. Props to ELF for making a bigger bottle after reading all of the comments/suggestions. I am impressed, keep it up ELF!! See more
