I bought this about a month ago and cleaned my new ELF brushes (neurotic, but its what I do). I cleaned my stipple brushes, an older Bare Minerals brush and a 35 yr old Shiseido sable body brush--it was FILTHY! it came out soft and the bristles bounced back into shape immediately. Another ELF product I love, love, love.
this is just a pretty bottle for rubbing alcohol; it ruins your brushes if you use it daily! I have started to notice that my brushes are shedding, and it only happened after I used this everyday for a week. They are only e.l.f brushes, so its not that much of a loss, but for those of you out there who have sigma, morphe, or mac brushes stay away from this product because it will ruin your beautiful expensive brushes. Its only safe to use this product for every 2 weeks to disinfect. I recommend to use baby shampoo, and a lint free cloth to clean your brushes daily. See more
I bought this probably a few times just because I am rather cheap LOL and I care more about sterilizing my brush rather than getting too much product out. I use the same product over and over so as long as its "clean" Im happy. However, I would NOT recommend this to take product out of brushes especially if you use any brushes with foundation/heavy powders. One thing that is WONDERFUL about this spray is that it leaves the brushes softer than before. Which is basically all I really care about. I would say it is definitely worth the 3 dollars, but make sure you use some cetaphil or another brush cleaner with it to get out the hard gunk. Use it as a brush softener. See more
Bought as came up highly recommended on a search for brush cleaner for using between washes and when needing to use the same brush but with a different colour, havent been disappointed, its very good, cleans the brush which is then ready to use again in just a couple of minutes
Im on my second bottle and i love this! Perfect size for to just throw in your makeup bag! The smell is great, it really does a great job also. Works great to spray the brush and rub on a paper towel. You really see all the makeup come off. No need to wet your brushes all the time.. but you still should clean them!
