So annoyed and disappointed I have to give this rating but Im so fuming as I loved these sponges I bought 2 last year and used them constantly was amazed at how smooth my foundation looked when using them. So decided to buy 2 more this year and their is a significant difference now. They are not as soft and dont soak up water effectively and expand to give the gorgeous softness for an airbrush effect as before. They feel rough on my face and dragging feeling when I apply my foundation. Also when I wash them only after one wash its started to break up and tear apart. I wont be purchasing anymore unless they go back to the old ones. :( See more

So this is the second Miracle Complexion Sponge that I bought. The first one was good and it lasted me quite a while. This second one however is another story. As yo can see in the photo this is how it looks like after I saturate it with water and squeez the excess out. FYI the sponge is new. When I do a nice squeez there is still a lot of water in it and becomes very squishi. You can see in the photo those parts that are a bit "flat", there you can really feel the squish. And it feels really disgusting. The foundation looks cakey. Anyone else with the same problem? It is possible to sand it back to the manufacturer, so they can really see what is happening. See more

Have used technique sponges for a few years now and have loved them. However, the last 2 I have bought are different. Texture feels cheaper. I do not write reviews often. What pushed me to write this one is MOLD. Yeah! Never had this problem with my old technique sponges. The ones they make now are made of different material and it breeds mold. I keep my sponges out in the open to always air dry. I think the problem is that the new material they use to make the sponges now absorb and hold more water and more foundation in the sponge. I believe this is contributing to the mold growth. I wash my sponges after 3-4 uses. Noticed that not all the foundation was washing out. I cut the sponges and realized this was not foundation lingering but is MOLD! Throwing them away and never buying technique sponges again. Who wants to press mold against their face? Gross! See more

Bought this last month with other RT brushes and feel this is a real good replacement for beauty blender with its price and quality. Normally i will damp it but this is good too with dry blending & dabbing, until the first time i clean the sponge and it breaks... = ( guess i should be turning back to beauty blender after this.

I literally got this a week ago and used it 3 times and it had literally split, I noticed that it had started breaking on the first use but the quality has gotten very poor.. Ive had these before and this has never happened at all!
