So easy to read, use, and interface with my computer. Allows me to share trends and reports with my doctor. Easy to mark a sample with meal markers and can customize hi and lo ranges to your own. Small and easy to carry and travel with. Great great monitor and I have tried a few and this one beats them all

I have had other meters, and have had nothing but issues with each and every one. Tired of dealing with inaccurate readings, quickly dead batteries, strips not working, etc, I looked into another meter and found the CONTOUR NEXT ONE, and absolutely LOVE IT!!!! SO easy to use, much more accurate, and no more test strip problems. If you do not get enough blood the first try, the meter will inform you and you can add more. This meter and strips require less blood, too. Compact, easy to access memory, does not eat through batteries, allows you to add more blood to test, more accurate, compact. I have read many reviews, comparing the old meters (all the same company) with this one, and hands down, CONTOUR NEXT ONE won, hands down! VERY highly recommended!!!! Having to test your blood sugar several times a day is not fun, but this little gem makes it much easier and simple! See more

Ive had this product for 2 months. Recentlly diagnosed with type 2 diabetes I was nervous about doing this right. I only had to insert the test strip (even with it turned off) and then add a small drop of blood and in seconds I have my reading. Then I select if its before or after a meal and Im done. I can even sync this to my iphone! It couldnt be easier!

Have a serious issue though with Contour Diabetes app. The missing option of deleting an entry is a huge bug regarding your ecosystem affecting the overall result etc. Even adding a manual entry cannot be deleted. I do have 4 COUNTOUR METERS 2xContour Next XT, 1xContour Plus and 1xContour Next ONE. I do really love Contour Next ONE but due to no control over my data I DO NOT USE IT at all. The reason is that I always carry α meter with me, one of the above at work and when I am visiting my relatives and/or travelling. Sometimes I am asked to check the blood glucose of another person (relative / colleague and/or a friend). You system / app records the metering without the option to delete such entries. TOO BAD for me - Sorry for my language. See more

My husband can not manage his diabetes on his own -- he has dementia. If it wasnt for this meter, I would not know what glucose was. He would hide his readings. Since we got the Contour Next One, his glucose has gone from 332 to 150 and lower before meals. His A1c has gone from 9.1 to 6.8. This meter makes you life with diabetes so much easier. The meter does all of the hard work for you.
