Aside from its well known pluses, I discovered something new. I have a big problem with Acid-Reflux, It will wake me at night and the back of my mouth and upper throat are on fire from the acid. Every other treatment is made to go in the stomach. I was awakened few nights ago, in agony. I got up to gargle and rinse with cold water, and had an idea. I dropped 2 alka seltzers in 1/2 glass of cold water, when the fizz was just ending I used the content for a gargle and rinse. Just like that my problem was over and done; but for good measure I fixed another glass of AS and drank it down. I will never be with out it again, thts a promise. See more

The product itself work great, good ole Alka-Seltzer to the rescue. I do notice at times some batches dont fizz like other. Got some from a store down the street, DG, and they fizzed away like I remember they used to do in the old day. But for the most part they dont tend to fix as much.. but rather just dissolve away like like fading into black. Now to the meat of the situation! Hey, spttt.. spittt, yes YOU.. WALMART! Could you please work on your shipping and packaging methods. I ordered some hand soap with this order. They put the soap in a large plastic back along w/ a bottle of multipurpose cleaner. Both bottles got smashed up.. the cleaner managed to make it w/out bursting. The hand soap, not so lucky. RIP mister soap. It managed to leak out of the plastic bag and all over everything else I ordered. This is not the first time this has happened. Frankly Im sick of it. How ca you throw items in a box too big so they will move and bounce around in a box, throw on small piece of wadded up brown paper in the box that doesnt even fill half of half the box and expect nothing to get damaged. Heck, if need be, Id be happy to give you guys a class on how to select the right size box and how to add packaging in the box so that items are held securely so they will arrive undamaged to customers. Ive been shipping items for years, and never has a client gotten any damaged goods. See more

I LOVE REGULAR ALKA SELTZER FOR AFTER MEALS. AIDS DIGESTION BETTER THAN ANYTHING ELSE. DO NOT CARE FOR THE COLD FORMULAS EVERYONE HAS IN ALL THEIR MEDS. I HAD TO ORDER THESE ONLINE AS ALL STORES CARRY COLD MEDS BUT NOT REGULAR.

I watched my dad take Alka Seltzer growing up and now its the ONLY solution for me when my stomach is upset or if I have a touch of heartburn. People think Im nuts but I also LOVE the taste of it too..... I tell them that I could drink it like soda although I know that its medicine and I cant but thats how much I love my Alka Seltzer baby!!!
