A nice ribbon of floss. Great for a complete floss as you hug each tooth. Comfortable on your gums and on the wound floss on your fingers. A bonus is the rounded edges on the package and also the ease of dispensing and cutting ease. Dispenser color is pleasant too!

Comparable to the brand name version. Easy to use and leaves your teeth feeling cleaner. Floss is durable and if it does get stuck between two teeth, can be pulled out and wont leave any little floss pieces behind. Great to have in your desk at work or in your purse for when you need it. Tastes great too!

I like this floss very much and the only reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I do not like the container and the way that the lid opens, I realize that this is supposed to be just like the name brand but honestly the lid is a pain to get open, especially for people who are not very nimble, the way it is designed does not leave you much to hold onto while trying to pop open the lid. The floss itself is great, very smooth and easy to get between and out of your teeth, I had no trouble with floss breaking or tearing and I really liked the mint flavor, it was mild and smooth. I definitely would recommend this floss, just beware that the container is small and not easy to open so it may be difficult for people who have a hard time grasping things. See more

Can a product be too good? If that can be true, this is a good candidate for the title. As a person with really really tightly packed teeth, I have always struggled to floss with typical dental floss. The stuff is usually too thick and gets caught on my crowns, or simply cannot squeeze between a few of my teeth. Those issues are completely gone with this Equate Extra Comfort floss. The thickness of the floss, or should I say, thinness of the floss allows it to get into every nook and cranny with little to no effort. The slippery, teflon like, material glides along with ease. Add a little minty flavor and you have a superior dental hygiene product. So where does the "too good" concept come into play? That slippery ability to glide into any tight space between teeth also makes the floss tough to grip. I end up using more than usual to wrap around my fingers to get a good grip. That means the floss wont last as long since I use more each time I floss. Unfortunately, if you take away that great feature.... you get the picture. The bottom line is that this is a great product - especially if you have tightly packed incisors! See more

I am a Spark Reviewer for Walmart and was sent a free 2-pack of Equate Extra comfort Dental Floss in mint flavor to review. Each container has 43.7 yards of floss. Upon opening the package, the first things I noticed were the green plastic floss containers. The flap lids are large making it very, very easy to open the flaps with your finger and there is an indentation in the front of the floss container that is wider than your finger, so the lid opens very easily. This right off the bat impressed me because I always end up with floss containers with the tiny lids and areas for your fingers that either break or chip my nails and these do not. I did not have to fight to open the floss. Next is the silver floss cutter that is larger as well, so the floss actually cuts the first time without fighting that. Now for the floss itself. The floss is soft and has a flat surface. I have periodontal disease and my teeth are tight on the top with gaps at the bottom. For me flossing after everything I eat is a must, and I dont like the rounded floss because it is harsh on my gums. The Equate floss is softer and with the flat design it easily went between my teeth at the top where they are close together. At the bottom by the gum line where there are gaps, the floss gently helped get rid of food particles and tarter and it was very gentle on my gums. It actually was the first time where I didnt get any bleeding from my gums, yet my teeth were flossed nicely, and the light mint flavor added a nice touch. The 2-pack is nice as this way when I pull out that last piece of floss I wont find myself without any, I will just reach for the second container and have time to add it to my list. See more
