Ive used lower tiers, the one difference is pressure sensing and alerting for unnecessary pressure. I like the app with facial recognition. All the it needs refinement and some more features. Could have gone with 7000, but I think extra $20 are worth for travelpack charging kit.

I bought this for my 10 year old son per recommendation from his dentist. He was using a Sonicare, but with having orthodontics now, this toothbrush provided different head options to specifically clean around the brackets. Hes been using it a few days and loves it! Theres a compatible app and it does some fancy stuff, but we havent played with that too much yet. His dad and I are both thinking of switching over though because of all the extra features!

I got this on Cyber Monday. This Oral-B 8000 replaced a Sonicare Essence+ My teeth feel cleaner. The pressure sensor is excellent. I did not realize that I have been brushing too hard. The travel charging case is great for a shared bathroom without space to store the item. The suction cup sticks very well. I took off one star because the app does not connect to the brush easily.

I love this toothbrush! So much that I bought my husband one too. My dentist was telling me that I need to make sure I dont press down too hard and I told him it had an alarm if you did that. He said he didnt know that was an option but thats great. I like that it times you to make sure you are brushing 2 minutes. I dont charge the battery but every couple of weeks. I did download the app, but Ive only used it a couple of times. Most of the times I dont have my phone in the bathroom.
