I am hooked on this device! The Oral-B Pro 5000 toothbrush and all the assistance from the smart phone app have me taking care of my teeth better than I ever have in my life. The battery charge will take me through two uses a day for a week (so I dont have to have the charger plugged in/on the counter). I didnt give too much thought to the travel case and thought it was just a gimmick to add artificial value to the presentation, but found it truly beneficial on my last trip. In the middle of this product review I had my normal 6 month dental check up. I not only was told my teeth looked "beautiful" and all was looking great - but imagine my surprise when I turned to my right and saw the Oral-B Pro 5000 being recommended and sold by my dentist. The Oral-B Pro 5000 seems to do a good job, its easy to use and I love having the timer built into the brush so it vibrates and lights up when its time to do another quadrant of my mouth. I was a little hesitant to start using the Oral-B Pro 5000 at first - as I have really sensitive teeth. My fears were totally unfounded! I used the gentle setting and the massage setting with no problems! My teeth feel totally clean and gums too. I think after a couple of weeks I will be able to use a tougher setting as well. Love the Bluetooth Connectivity and it is great for keeping tracking of brushing habits - especially for the kids. Easy to use controls and great battery life. I am amazed at the results I am seeing with my oral-b electric PRO 5000 toothbrush system. My toothbrush has an app!! The app helps you brush your teeth correctly an advises you on how you can improve your brushing techniques. I received my oral-b electric PRO 5000 toothbrush free in the mail from bzzagent. I was excited to try it and after waiting 24 hours for the initial charge the toothbrush was ready or use.my Personal experience has been amazing. After brushing with the oral-b electric Pro 5000 toothbrush my teeth feel exactly like I just came from the dentist for an expensive teeth cleaning. It also reminds you in the app when you need to brush. I am enjoying the results I am getting and would recommend this oral-b Pro 5000 cleansing electric toothbrush to all my family and friends.  This toothbrush gives me a dentist clean feeling after each use and is simple to use. I charged it overnight after taking it out of the box and it was good to go the next morning. I have used it twice a day for the last week and it still has at least half the charge. The Oral-B Pro 5000 SmartSeries electric toothbrush comes with plenty of accessories, but its most outstanding features are its Bluetooth capabilities and partner app. Thats right, theres an app for this toothbrush! The app has two main jobs: sensing and tracking. The Pro 5000 tracks how long your brush and how hard you apply the brush to your teeth. When you press the brush head too hard, the handle flashes its indicator, the app notifies you and the brush speed decreases. The brush also tracks how long your brush, how thoroughly and how often. A visual timer on your phone shows you how much time you have to continue brushing and divides the time in four 30-second quadrants for each part of your mouth. In addition, the app provides news, weather and oral care tips during the two minutes youre brushing. The more often you use the Pro 5000, the more information the app gathers. You can track your brushing habits over time and see how your brushing has improved or changed over a six month period. Once you make serious progress, you can share your brushing history or achievements with friends online. The Oral-B Pro 5000 isnt a sonic toothbrush, but it still oscillates, rotates and pulsates to attack plaque. This electric brush has five different modes. As the name suggests, the daily clean setting is the standard brushing cycle. You can also find cycles for gum care, sensitive teeth, whitening and deep cleaning. It comes with only one brush head, but you can easily purchase similar or specialized brush heads that fit this toothbrush. Oral-B makes nine compatible brush heads that work with most Oral-B toothbrushes. This is a pricey toothbrush, so its good to see the warranty lasts a while. Once you purchase the Oral-B Pro 5000, the warranty lasts for two years. For protection, the brush comes with a hard travel case. You can find a manual online if you have any issues using the brush. Theres also a frequently asked questions section on the website, and Oral-B offers email and phone support. A mobile app paired with a toothbrush may seem like a bit much, but theres some good thinking behind this feature. The closer you pay attention to your habits, the more likely youll change them for the better. The app shows your brushing history, shares tips, times your brushing, monitors the pressure you use and even allows you to share progress with friends. After using the Oral B pro 5000 now for a week I would not go back to a manual toothbrush ever again .
