I recently started taking a medication that causes dry mouth. I would wake up in the nite and my mouth an throat were so dry nothing would stick. They wouldnt even stick together! They were like paper! I heard of this product and tried it. It does a pretty good job but not as good as the commercials on TV say. I get up to use the restroom about 3-4 times a nite and I have to use it each time. It works to a point, but doesnt last like they say. And the flavor could be better. Its not a bad flavor, but it could be better.

I have tried many mouthwash products over a good many years and discovered Biotene when my dentist recommended it. He thought it would be best for me since Im highly allergic to smells, tastes, etc. which trigger my severe and chronic asthma/COPD. So I did and have been using it for over five years now and it really does the trick. Im so grateful for this recommendation and want others to give it a try to see the difference it can make.

In an attempt to save money, I bought the ACT dry mouth instead of this. I ended up throwing out the ACT and coming back to Biotene. ACT tastes awful and has a terrible after taste. Biotene does not. Im back with Biotene, for good! It was recommended by my dentist because I have dry mouth due to my medications.

My dentist recommended this product and at Walmart.com I was able to buy a larger size and save money! Works to keep my mouth from feeling dry all night and I highly recommend to anyone who needs help with dry mouth.
