I start my daily oral care first thing every morning by brushing with Colgate Total SF Toothpaste Whitening Paste. It really does work, and i have come to trust the Colgate brand and it just keeps getting better. This toothpaste tastes great, and i have sensitive teeth and gums, so it is making them stronger and whiter, and my mouth just feels great after brushing with it. I havent found one thing i dislike about Colgate Total SF Toothpaste Whitening Paste. I never knew it existed until now, but this will be a part of my regular routine now. Let me add to the chorus of people who hate the new taste. In addition, there is a lingering unpleasant after-taste that lasts for hours. Its interesting that the taste change was made using the same packaging so customers didnt know that they were buying a different product. You dont see any indication until removing the tube from box and notice in small letters "new flavor" . You must have known people wouldnt like it. Is it possible to get the original flavor toothpaste or do I have to switch brands? Im throwing away the new stuff!! See more

I have used Colgate all my life. This new formula is AWFUL. It causes extreme irritation of my lips, gums, and mouth. It causes really bad breath and an intolerable taste in my mouth. It is so bad I get up in the middle of the night to try anything to get the yucky funk out of my mouth and eat breath mints all day. Other versions of the new Colgate are just as bad. I called customer service to share my concerns, but with new formulas just hitting the shelves, they cant seem to do anything. Im in the process of searching for a new brand that leaves a long lasting fresh like Colgate used to do. Crest and Aquafresh are failures, too. Colgate - please press rewind! See more

After using the previous Colgate product for many many years, Im very disappointed with this "new flavor" aka new formulation. Ive been using it for a few weeks now and finally realized that its this reformulated toothpaste that has been causing pain/sores on my lips and tongue (which after reading everyone elses reviews could be due to an allergic reaction), swelling, and dry mouth. After brushing, Im in extreme pain because the toothpaste makes my mouth burn so much. Im writing this review to warn others to stay away from this so-called "new flavor" they advertise on the tube. I wouldnt give this toothpaste to my worst enemy. See more

Extremely disappointed with this new version of Colgate total. The taste is horrible but the worst part is the inside of my mouth is peeling and extremely irritated from it! The first couple of days using it I noticed my mouth felt extremely dry then along came the irritation. I actually had gone to my doctors today and was told it is an allergic reaction. Needless to say Im pretty upset that I cant use this toothpaste anymore as I have been using it for years. It was the only toothpaste I liked because it made my mouth feel clean. Why on earth did you change a good thing? Bring back the original version! See more
