Returns & Exchanges Policy
1. OUR BEAUTY PROMISE At Beauty Joint Cosmetics, we want you to feel confident and beautiful. We understand that sometimes a shade might not match your skin tone perfectly, or a product just isn't what you expected. We offer a 30-day return policy from the date of delivery for eligible items.
2. STRICT HYGIENE & SANITATION GUIDELINES Due to the intimate nature of cosmetics and skincare, and in compliance with strict health and hygiene regulations, our return requirements are very specific:
- Unopened & Unused: Products must be returned in their original, unopened packaging with all safety seals completely intact.
- Used or Opened Items: For sanitary reasons, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on items that have been opened, swatched, tested, or used. If an opened item is returned to us, it will be disposed of for health reasons, and no refund will be issued.
- Final Sale Items: Brushes, beauty sponges, eyelashes, and clearance items are strictly Final Sale and cannot be returned.
3. DEFECTIVE OR DAMAGED PRODUCTS We package our fragile palettes and glass bottles with extreme care. However, if your items arrive damaged (e.g., shattered eyeshadow, broken pump) or if you receive a defective product:
- Please email us at beautyjoint@example.com within 48 hours of delivery.
- Include your Order Number and clear, well-lit photos of the damaged item and the shipping box.
- We will gladly send a free replacement right away or issue a full refund to your original payment method.
4. ALLERGIC REACTIONS Everybody's skin is unique. We highly recommend reviewing the ingredient list on our product pages before purchasing to avoid known allergens. Because we are a retailer and not the manufacturer, we cannot accept returns for opened products due to personal allergic reactions.
5. HOW TO INITIATE A RETURN
- Ensure your item meets our unopened/unused criteria.
- Contact our Customer Care team at beautyjoint@example.com to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
- Pack the item securely. The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs.
- Ship the package to our El Reno, OK facility (the exact address will be provided with your RMA).
- Once inspected and approved, your refund will be processed within 5-7 business days. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
