Shipping & Delivery Policy

1. FROM OUR WAREHOUSE TO YOUR HAIR ROUTINE Welcome to BeautyEncounter! We are committed to helping you achieve your ultimate hair goals by delivering premium, salon-quality hair care products straight to your door. All orders are carefully curated, securely packed, and dispatched from our primary fulfillment center located in Boston, Massachusetts.

2. ORDER PROCESSING & LIQUID PACKAGING We know you are eager to start your new hair care regimen!

• Standard Processing Time: We strive to process and hand over all standard orders to our shipping partners within 1–2 business days (Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays).
• Specialized Liquid Packaging: Because we ship a high volume of liquids (shampoos, conditioners, hair masks, and liquid serums), our packing team takes extra precautions. Every pump and cap is individually sealed with protective wrap to prevent accidental leaks or spills during transit.
• High-Volume Events: During major sales events or new brand launches, processing may take up to 3–4 business days. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number the moment your package leaves our facility.

3. U.S. DOMESTIC SHIPPING RATES & TRANSIT TIMES We offer several shipping methods to suit your needs:

• Free Standard Shipping: We are thrilled to offer FREE Standard Ground Shipping on all orders over $50.00.
• Standard Ground (3–6 Business Days): For orders under $50.00, a competitive flat rate will be calculated at checkout based on your delivery zone.
• Expedited Shipping (2–3 Business Days): Available for an additional fee at checkout (applicable only to non-HAZMAT items).

4. HAZMAT RESTRICTIONS (DRY SHAMPOOS & HAIRSPRAYS) Please be aware that certain hair styling products—specifically aerosol dry shampoos, hairsprays, volumizing mousses, and products containing high levels of alcohol—are classified as Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) by the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT).

• Ground Shipping Only: In strict compliance with federal regulations, these items must be shipped via Standard Ground Shipping.
• We cannot ship HAZMAT items via expedited air delivery, nor can we deliver them to APO/FPO/DPO military addresses or P.O. Boxes.

5. WEATHER & TEMPERATURE ADVISORY Hair treatments, especially those containing natural oils (like argan or macadamia oil) and keratin, can be sensitive to extreme weather. During freezing winters or peak summer heat, we strongly recommend tracking your package and bringing it indoors immediately upon delivery to prevent formula separation.
