After trying countless conditioners from the cheapest to the most expensive, this has to be the absolute best I have ever tried. I have been a loyal customer of this conditioner for over 2 years now. My hair needs change as the weather changes but this conditioner has been with me through extreme cold winters, rainy springs, hot and muggy summers, and cool falls. I decided to write a review after coming back from vacation where I could not find this conditioner anywhere and had to opt for another brand that was twice as much money and left my hair feeling horrible! When I came home my hair became an instant wonder after using this conditioner just one time! What a relief! I have color-treated, oily yet dry and damaged combination hair (straight, thick and fine all at once!) and this is the only product that leaves my hair feeling and looking its best without weighing it down at all! I really love this product and highly recommend it to anyone I come into contact with! See more

I love this product but I am trying to find out why they changed it? I loved that it is super thick and creamy and now it is just runny and I buy at least 3 of the big bottles every week. This change has only occurred over past moth or so. Does anyone know why they would change it?? Thank you all for your time [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

This is the worst conditioner I have ever used! My hair looked worse after I washed it than before the wash! I gave it 4 tries... The first time my hair looked like I put gel in it and it had conditioner still in it. OK! Gave it another try, rinse it better, same result. All the times I used it I had to wash my hair again. So, for me, it didt work at all!

Ive used many of Doves products over the years and have always been satisfied ... Until now. For almost a month I was having issues with my hair immediately after washing it. My hair was really greasy/coated & I found little clumps of congealed product in it. I have thick, curly hair & believe me I rinse it well. I couldnt figure out what product I was using that was doing this! Finally last week I was washing my hair & went to put the conditioner on but noticed something when I put it in my hand. It had little globs of sticky stuff in the conditioner. Thats what was getting stuck in my hair and not rinsing out or coming out when drying & straightening. It was so gross to have to pull those clumps out of my hair at work when I Just washed it. I wont be buying this again and I hope Dove makes sure that this product doesnt have this issue going forward. Very disappointing. See more

The new formula is the absolute WORST! Ive been using this product for about 9 years and have seen it go through many changes, but the first time I used the new formula, I thought I had purchased the wrong product. It smells awful, has a much thinner and runnier consistency, and doesnt get absorbed into my hair. The old formula was thick and creamy and did a much better job moisturizing my hair. Do not buy this product! I am declaring a boycott until the formula is changed back.
