I use dark brown permanent die for my grays so I wasnt sure how well it will work but it did. I only did a few stands to test it out but it came out pretty close to the color on the box so I will be using the second box I bought to add more strands. Overall I think I did a better job than most salons would do and for a heck of a lot cheaper. I definitely recommend it. Just make sure you watch your hair as it develops to get the color you want. By the way you will notice the top strand is lighter then the side one but thats because I had tried the whole baking soda lighting method on that piece of hair previously so it lifted faster than the other strands. I also have thick curly hair and there doesnt seem to be any damage to my hair. See more

This is my SECOND review on this product and color bevayse it is just so perfect. I have used garnier for years. I have dark blonde hair that pulled yellow over summer with pre lightened ends. Garnier nails it every time. Knocked out the yellow gave me a beautiful not too warm not too ashy natural blonde. Its gorgeous. No more yellow and blended everything together and gave me a beautiful look for fall. Please Garnier keep this one!

I have spent years searching for the perfect chocolate brown shade and I have finally found it! My hair is naturally dark so after applying this color, my hair turned out to be a dark chocolate brown shade with red and golden tones which is perfect for me. It will appear to be a much lighter chocolate shade on someone with lighter hair. Not only am I in love with the color, I also love its none drip formula. I didnt even need to use anything to hold my hair up since it stayed nicely in place after I applied it all over my scalp and hair. I have also had bad experiences with other dyes, which have left me with an itchy scalp but this one is great on my scalp. I highly recommend this brand and this hair color for anyone who is trying to go for a nice dark brown. See more

This color is beautiful! It reminds me of the color that used to be black cherry. It looks almost black, but in light there are beautiful highlights of reds and purples. Ive had so many people compliment me on the color and ask where I got my hair done at. Then when I reluctantly tell them its a box color they are all too excited to find out they can get it too. I see many complaints from people on here saying how dark it made their hair. The name of the color is DARKEST BERRY BURGUNDY. Usually, for future reference, the color it says your hair will be, always count on it being a shade for 2 darker, especially if you already have dark hair. However, as with all dark hair colors after a few week or so of washing you hair, it will begin to lighten up. See more

I dyed my hair with this color about three weeks ago and I was initially very happy with the results. I had never dyed my hair before and I was nervous about trying it out but the process was really easy and done in less than an hour. My hair started out dark brown and the dye turned it a blackish color that has blue undertones in certain light. However, I am only three weeks out from when I dyed it and it has already faded significantly. There are pieces where my natural brown is coming back out and I am noticing a greenish tint that I really do not like. I really liked how it looked when I first dyed it but I just wish it could have stayed like that a bit longer. I only wash my hair twice a week so I expected a permanent color to last longer before fading this much. The ugly green tint is what really bothers me and I wish there was a way to get rid of it without dying my hair all over again. See more
