I love this brand of hair color! It has great gray coverage. It doesnt have a strong odor like a lot of other brands. It leaves my hair looking and feeling fantastic!

Ive been dying my hair for 20 years, and I dye it often. Ive tried basically every hair dye on the market and this was one company I hadnt tried. I was looking to change my hair color again and missed having purple hair, ah the joys of adult life, so when I found this color I was excited. I figured the worst that would happen is I hate it and change it again in 3 weeks. I turned out to not only love the color - which despite all the odd reviews Ive read does actually have purple in it with a really pretty red tint in the right light. I would like to add that ALL hair dyes have a red tint on my hair, I have a strong red in my hair naturally. The dye works extremely well, stayed in my hair for weeks longer than expected and Ive only needed root touch-ups. As for the hair dye coming out during washing I want to give some advice to all the novice hair dying ladies out there ANY hair dye containing red of any kind will bleed in hot water. Cold water works best. Make sure the water runs clear during your initial rinse as well. A good shampoo also makes all the difference in the world. You cant blame the dye for your mistakes ^_^ mine only came out slightly with the first wash which I fully expected. The color did not fade. I will definitely purchase this product in the future and Im already looking forward to trying a couple other colors from this company. The dye didnt damage my hair. The conditioner works well (leave it in for at least a minute) and my hair was shiny, soft and had beautiful color. Bravo to this company for their formula. I wouldnt normally do this, but because of all the negative reviews for a product that I actually feel doesnt deserve them, Im going to upload a photo of the color 2 weeks after I dyed it. ^_^ See more

Ive been coloring my natural red hair as the grays started. My natural red color is a mix of strands of blonde, brown, and copper and it has been impossible to find a boxed color that is light enough, but not orange. The more golden or copper colors are darker than I wanted. I started with a darker color due to the above issue and this color lightened my hair a shade and it is probably the closest to my natural color in years. Another application or two will probably give me the shade similar to what I had as a child, which is pretty close to her color on the box. Please never discontinue this shade. See more

I just used 3.8 Velvet Brown and had a great color result. My hair is soft, shiny and has multi-tones. The color had a very pleasant smell and did not burn my scalp. The results I got were better than most salon color Ive had. The color is beautiful and Im very happy!!

I got this color because i wanted a nice bright blue tint to my hair while being able to still have black like i always wanted. It came out even brighter than i hoped its amazing. For someone whose been told they couldnt have black hair it compliments my skin beautifully. Very pleased.
