I have extremely greasy hair and it gets greasy very easily but with this product, it did help keep it less oily a lot longer but it made my hair SO dry. My scalp was sooo itchy for about 4 days.. not sure if it was an allergic reaction but this product was so bad for my hair

I am eighty years old. I began using this shampoo when it first hit the shelves many years ago. It is the only shampoo that I will use, because now with fine hair, the others have ingredients that make my hair heavy and stiff. I love, love, love this shampoo. No other for this old head of hair. Please never stop making it.

This is a great shampoo for removing styling products from your hair. I used it regularly until I had to start dyeing my hair (gotta get rid of those greys!) Now I use it right before dyeing to deep clean. Hubby uses it regularly now - he has oily hair and uses styling products. We both have straight, black hair. Cant beat the price too!

I have oily hair that causes me to have to wash my hair daily. I have found myself having to switch shampoos often to the point of alternating between two different shampoos each day in order to prevent build-up and weighted down hair. I have always had this problem but as I am getting older it has become worse. Most recently I was having trouble finding any product that left my hair clean, light and healthy. I tried products much more expansive then this one and tried aragon oil, coconut shampoo, paraben and dye free shampoos, the list goes on. I started googling for recommendations and found that I should be looking for a clarifying shampoo. I bought the Suave daily clarifying shampoo and absolutely love it. The scent truely lasts all day and my hair feels happy and healthy for the first time in a long while. I was so focused on just trying to find a shampoo that now I will need to go back and get the Sauve daily clarifying conditioner as well. See more

Many years ago I had what I thought was dandruff, I asked my beautician about it, she said it was not dandruff it was the shampoo I was using it was drying out my scalp and told me to try Suave, I did and now I have NO flaky scalp....Once in a while I will use another brand but I always come back to Suave, especially strawberry scent.. I see my grandson is having the same problem I told him to try Suave, I will update the result....
