So far, this seems to be an average shampoo. It doesnt lather very well but it appears to clean normally. The scent seems to be a light fruity/floral mix that doesnt hang on to my hair. Ive only used for a week so I dont see any difference in the brightness of my gray hair yet. Too bad there isnt a coordinating conditioner for this shampoo. I��ve used a hydrating Suave conditioner with it.

I wouldnt buy it again. The smell is horrible. It will linger for days even after shampooing with other shampoos. It is a 100% chemical floral smell. Whatever they use, produces fumes that will dry out your eyes. My eyes dry out every time use this shampoo. It may work moderately but not worth the smell nor dry eyes. It also dries out your hair. So if you want to mask with more fragrances and add more hair products to you hair, you will not mind this shampoo. If you are looking for healthy lower maintenance routine, then stay away from this product. You will put in more work to make this moderately ok to use. See more

I trust the Equate brand from Wal-Mart but my hair didnt look significantly different that I could see. Plus, it dried my hair out and my hair needs a lot of moisture right now because I lightened it and its winter time. I used a good quality conditioner and left it in for a few minutes but my hair was still suffering from the drying effects of the shampoo. Im glad it works for other people but I doesnt work with my hair.

This actually made my hair more yellow. Almost like it stripped the color. I only used it once and left it on for 3 minutes like the directions said. Ill be switching back to shimmer lights

I was so happy to find this as it was the most affordable purple shampoo but it smells soooooooooooo bad! It smells like a grandma who bathed in stinky cheap perfume! And it is STRONG! My conditioner usually leaves my hair smelling really nice for a while but this shampoo covered even that up! The smell even woke me up repeately because it is so strong. I have no idea how well it works because im never using it again!
