I have pretty short hair, but I do use hair product almost daily (gel, etc). This makes my list of requirements for a shampoo pretty simple: (1) Clean the gel from my hair (2) Wash out cleanly - I dont like feeling like there is still a "film" on my hair after a shower. The Pure Clean shampoo from Garnier Fructis checks both of those boxes, and does it with a great scent. There was no "extra" drying of my hair or scalp that sometimes happens with other shampoos. My wife noticed the scent from the shampoo and has been stealing it as well. All in all, good shampoo that gets the job done, and smells nice. After being able to try this shampoo for the last couple weeks I have noticed that my hair is not as oily as normal, I deal with extremely oily hair and usually after about 14 hours my hair, at the roots tends to start to get oily, after about 30 hours now its just starting to look the same so Im extremely happy about this product and as a bonus it smells great. As you know whats in the bottle is not all that matters, this bottle is sleek so it fits on any shelf in your shower or tub. It also can be stored right side up or upside down so your not wasting your precious time shaking the bottle to get the last bit out. Finally it opens so easy even with wet slippery hands. I have some what oily hair and this shampoo doesnt work well with my hair type. After 12 ish ours my hair looks like I have not showered. I preferred the old formula for pure clean to this. But one positive is that I do really like the scent of this shampoo. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

This shampoo has a fantastic scent! Clean, crisp, with a hint of lime. I didnt need much to work up a rich lather on my hair (medium length, fine, straight hair). I like how it easily rinsed out, other shampoos sometimes seem to stick to my hair and rinsing it out is frustrating. This one really did rinse nicely. The Garnier Fructis Pure Clean shampoo leaves your hair extremely soft, smooth, and shiny. It has such a clean, tropical-like scent and is so light feeling on your hair, unlike the other shampoos filled with unknown ingredients and leaves your hair feeling heavy. What I noticed after applying the shampoo is how much suds it produces, making me feel like my hair was getting extra clean!
