This eyeliner is a little too black and is quite hard to remove; therefore, erasing a mistake requires a little elbow grease. It glides on smooth and doesnt cause irritation. I always use Almay Eyeliner and would purchase this one again if my favorite (Almay Intense Eyeliner in Black Pearl) wasnt available.

Great product from Almay- a real bargain here. I think these eyeliners are being discontinued. I bought the pack of 2 and will buy more as I have used these for years. Very good for sensitve eye, a great "glide"- very little or lite smudge and a handy built in sharpener. What I like most is the way this goes on, thin or thick liner- you can glide over it a couple times for a dramatic look, or simply line the eyes fast, easy and a sharp look. Only con is hard to remove, but that comes with all eyeliners for me. Grab these while you can!

I recently decided to try Almay eye makeup since its hypoallergenic & was desperate to find eye makeup that would not irritate my eyes. Ive had good luck with Lancome, but cant really afford that anymore. I was SO very pleased with this eyeliner. Its soft, so goes on easily. Its a rich color, & does seems to wear well. Best of all, does not irritate my eyes. The bonus is the price.

I have been using this for years and love it. Tried all of the expensive brand names but they dont work as well. They are either too hard and scrape my eye or too soft and smear throughout the day. This one stays right where I put it and I never have to sharpen it. Just wish they had more colors available.

I love the ease of it, but I wish it came waterproof and smudgeproof, it melts after you put it on almost right away, plus the pencil sharpener that lies in the head is so hard to clean then it falls out and you cant get it back in, sighhhhhhhhh I am very disappointed in Almay. I really do not think there is such a thing as an eyeliner pencil that doesnt smudge and make you look like you have been in a Rocky Fight lollllllllllll.
