I absolutely hate this "new and improved" (yea right) design. It pinches and tugs so much! I used to love the original design of the mechanical eye lash curler with the bulky black handles. That worked like a dream, this one on the hand is a nightmare.. Please bring back the old style and do yourself a favor and avoid the newer one at all costs!!

i bought this bc my revlon eyelash curler got very dirty, i have never tried the previous version, but i hear that it is LOADS BETTER than this piece of trash. its terrible, it only gets my middle lashes and it leaves them looking very uneven. my sister, who has hooded eyes, tried the curler and IT CHOPPED HER ALREADY SHORT LASHES TO ALMOST NOTHING! it also pinched her eyeLID, leaving it looking red and scratched. such a shame, elf should REALLY bring the old mold back.

I purchased the "new improved" version in my order two months ago and found that it cut off a couple of my lashes on the very edge of eye. Like the longest ones!! so disappointed. I knew it was cheap and thought Id give it a try, what could it do?!? Sadly now I know. I wouldnt recommend this purchase. Not worth loosing lashes for a couple of bucks in savings....

I bought this as a add-on to get up to free shipping, and I wish I had saved my money and bought one somewhere else. I dont know whats wrong with it, but when I use it (no mascara on at all) my eyelashes get stuck in the pad, and then then I pull it away from my eye it rips them out, and theyre still stuck in the black part. I gave it two stars because it curls the lashes it leaves behind pretty decently.

I bought this curler yesterday after my old elf curler broke. I had that curler for more than 2 years and it was amazing. So easy and effortless to use and it was great quality for the price... I mean it lasted two years! So when i went to pick up a new one yesterday i was disappointed to see that the design had changed and it was no longer spring loaded. In my opinion curlers that are not spring loaded are annoying and difficult to use. With the "new and improved" label on this curler i still decided to try it, but it just doesnt do it for me. Im not saying get rid of this one, because i know people like it, but it would be nice if the old one was also available. Hopefully i can find one similar to your old design that isnt super expensive. See more
