Ive bought a couple of these palettes and use about once a week. I like the texture and they go on smooth and blend well. Although, they tend to fade after about 6 hours. I would use them more if they came in a triple, or doubles, rather than a quad, because I find the colors in the palettes I use the most of, are the Lid and Crease sections, which are the smallest sections, but should be the largest sections, imo. I found the section marked liner goes mostly unused. The second color I use the least of is the base. So, Ive almost used up the parts of the palettes most useful to me, and will be tossing the quad. Unfortunately, Maybelline does not offer the colors contained in the quads, in singles. Also, the choices for matte finish is very limited, in the single eye-shadows. I probably will never purchase these again, and will be looking for similar colors to the ones I like, in singles, elsewhere, and not at Maybelline. See more

Wanted to love these because the pigmentation was pretty good for a drugstore eyeshadow especially with primer underneath, but the texture of 3 of the 4 colors in every quad Ive tried was always chalky, making application splotchy and hard to blend.

I first tried the charcoal smokes quad 6 years ago. And thats when I switched all my make up over to Maybelline!! Its now my everyday eye-shadow. I can play it up many different ways no matter what Im doing..absolutely love love love this collection!!! Just had to replace mine as I use it everyday. But theres no other eye shadow on the market that compares to the colors in this quad!!

I bought this for prom, it was literally the first time I ever wore eyeshadow. It was soo wasy to use because it the directions were on the back. I did my eyemake up myself that night and I got compliments all night. It even lasted all night without creasing. I have been doing makeu since then and I always reommend this product to beginners and I still use it myself as well.

I own about 4 or 5 color variations of these little quads and I love them! I bought my first one about a year and a half ago and I fell in love! The only complaint I have is that these are NOT crease proof. I always use a primer underneath. I love Urban Decays Shadow Insurance. Other than that theyre wonderful. Especially for the price. Great pigmentation!
