I washed it one time and it already has a tear in it. I love real techniques brushes but this is really disheartening especially because I loved how this sponge applied my foundation. You should at least send people new ones real techniques. Youre supposed to get 1-3 months use out of this???

I went out and bought mine about a month ago to see if all the YouTube hype was true and once I saw the price I bought it immediately I use it now on a daily basis and being a mom of two I dont have time to spend using and cleaning so many different brushes just on my face alone when I need to slay my eye makeup as well and for my face makeup this sponge does it all!! Im beyond impressed and will definitely be repurchasing over and over again!!

I have been using the original Real Techniques sponge for years and loved it. However, since they started adding the RT on the side the sponge is different. They used to be really soft and squishy, now they feel more rubbery. They dont blend foundation as well and are much harder to clean.

I have been using the RT sponges for at least two years, but I just bought some replacement ones and these new ones are AWFUL! You keep responding saying the formulation hasnt changed but it definitely is not the same as a few months ago! This one leaves my foundation patchy and the sponge itself feels like a silicone pad rather than a sponge. I am super disappointed. In the photo you can see both sponges are expanded, but they are not the same. The one on the left is the “new” RT sponge and you can see it doesnt fully open and the pores of the sponge arent visible, so the foundation just sorta spread around the face instead of bounce into the skin. The one on the right is old( yes its starting to crack, hence the need for the new sponge) but the pores are open and it bounces the foundation into my skin like normal. Please fix this! See more

I bought this sponge a week ago to replace my old Real Techniques Miracle Sponge because it started ripping. But, I soon found out that the texture and feel of the sponge is different from my old one which I thought was because my old one was really old and I wasnt used to the new one. Well, today I can not use the new one because once I put it in water to dampen and squeeze out the excess water, the sponge will not return to its natural shape and is just a soggy ball now. Will probably not buy another in case it happens again. See more
