essie Nail Polish (Pinks), Haute in the Heat, 0.46 fl oz

This is the first essie polish Ive ever used, I saw it on clearance walking by a jcpenny salon and thought it was such a really pretty, sheer nude. Ive applied 3 coats and I didnt expect it to be this sheer. Its sheerness also makes the color even paler than it looks in the bottle. I really wanted the tips of my nails to be covered better. I think this looks way too light on me. It did apply nicely though, and was great shine.

It took four coats, but I think it was worth it. I really like the color on my skin tone. I tried to be very patient and let the polish dry fully between coats. This is my first Essie polish, as well as my first Essie top coat. I have high hopes based on reviews :-)

I didnt know how this color was gonna look on my oddly colored skin but Im in love with it! Its so subdued its perfect since Im not flashy and dont often wear polish anyway.

I love this polish! Its a beautiful color and doesnt chip as quickly. Ive had this polish on for a week in this photo without touch ups. Highly recommend it!

This is my favorite color to use everyday, everywhere. It looks great in every skin color, now Im tanned but when my skin is clearer it also looks beautiful. I put on two coats then the “gel setter” top coat.
