I looked at Essie polish colors online and chose a few I wanted to buy before going to shop for polish. The colors appeared pink or pinkish online, but in the store they definitely were NOT pink or pinkish. I was very disappointed that the color depictions online are not accurate or even close to being accurate and that I had to scrap my choices. I was also disappointed that Essie offers so many colors that are almost almost identical. Doing so overwhelms consumers, wastes their time and causes confusion. Sometimes "Less is More". Simplify Essie ... please? After giving up on trying to choose a pink shade (because there were SO many to choose from), I decided to try a neutral color for every day. I choose "Hi Maintenance". Its actually the same color as my skin and my skin isnt pink. (see the photo I posted). But Im glad I gave it a try. The color looks awesome on me! Im an older woman with nails that have deep ridges and my nail beds are varying shades of blue, purple and yellow. Ive always worn thick, opaque polish to try to hide the ridges and unattractive nail bed colors. The thick polish was hard to apply and the ridges were never hidden completely but I didnt know what to do. "Hi Maintenance", as sheer as it is, makes the deep ridges disappear and hides my weird nail bed colors too. I consider THAT a miracle! Im not good at applying my own polish and was overjoyed that "Hi Maintenance" went on perfectly with no streaks! It was thin and easy to apply. It didnt dry too quickly, but dried quickly enough that I didnt mess it up like I always do when using thick polish. I especially like that the white tips of my nails show through the polish and look a bit like a French tip. My nails havent looked this good, with or without polish for many years. Im over the moon in love with this polish and color. Essie "Hi Maintenance" is my new every day polish. And Ill never go back to using thick hard to apply polish that doesnt hide the ridges. I am an AVID nail art enthusiast and usually dont keep one color on for more than a few days. I love to try new things and get bored easy! I never thought Id love a neutral rose as much as this! This is my go to color for so many things. Its just colored enough to not be as plain nude, but sophisticated enough to still be subtle. Ive used it so many times and Im pretty sure its the only polish Ive ever bought multiple bottles of (coming from someone who owns hundreds!). Its so much fun to play with and try new things. It looks great super glossy or with nail art, my new favorite is with a matte top coat! Feminine, versatile, and one of the only roses Ive ever seen! I always keep a cascade cool polish on deck in my collection of nail polish! No matter the season or your complexion, this color is a great and an eye catcher! Its the perfect warm pink!

Ladies if you dont have this nail polish in your collection, You must have it. No camera or video will capture the true color. You have to go and see it in person. I hope you know what i mean. I love, love love- - - this nail polish so much.

Ive been waiting for an Essie colour in a peach or salmon tone which isnt too orange for aaaages! THIS IS IT! Its neither too pink nor too orange and just great for a lightly tanned summer skin! I love it.
