I bought this specifically for my wedding day and it was perfect. My first Essie purchase and I am more than impressed. No bubbles, chips or streaks and it looked flawless! Also lasted more than a week which is nice.

This is such a lovely color mixed with Adore-a-ble. It does looks like a french manicure. I love how smooth it is to apply on my nails and its shiny clean. I feel elegant wearing these combo.

This was the first Essie color I ever got, and was hooked. I was skeptical because I had read many reviews about the color streaking. While I did experience streaking, knowing before hand, I thought Id try the color corrector underneath my base. It came out streak free, even color, and flawless smooth shine and finish even before top coat. Its a beautiful feminine pink that is perfect for all occasions and every day wear. Definitely favorite worthy. I used 3 coats of color corrector under 1 coat of base though, but it worked out perfectly. Then 2 coats of ballet slippers color, and 2 coats of top coat. Any less color corrector or ballet slippers color than that, and ballet slippers does streak with the slightest bit too much or too little polish on brush. I tested 1 2 and 3 coats and combinations with each and for me thats what worked best. Not the easiest to apply and does require proper preparation but with just a little extra layering, its worth it for such a pretty shade. See more

I didnt know how this color was gonna look on my oddly colored skin but Im in love with it! Its so subdued its perfect since Im not flashy and dont often wear polish anyway.

This is the first essie polish Ive ever used, I saw it on clearance walking by a jcpenny salon and thought it was such a really pretty, sheer nude. Ive applied 3 coats and I didnt expect it to be this sheer. Its sheerness also makes the color even paler than it looks in the bottle. I really wanted the tips of my nails to be covered better. I think this looks way too light on me. It did apply nicely though, and was great shine.
