Im giving this two stars instead of one because they do come with a case and a nice big bottle of glue that are probably worth the $5 & change I paid at my store ... but theyre horrible. No one wears nails this long, even for Halloween. Yes, you can cut them but what theyve done is give it a rolled edge to add strength. This rolled edge must be HEAVILY filed at the joint or you get a bump on either side next to the cuticle where it overlaps with your natural nail. This weakens the bond in that area so you must them apply a drop of glue there as if the glue was an overlay material like builder gel or acrylic. You cant avoid spillage on the cuticle. Now, these might be okay if you cut off the overlay and use them as full-cover fake nails instead of tips (they are tips -- Walmarts product description is wrong). The youd get a big hump at the base of the nail instead of a joint, which wouod mimic the high C curves currently popular. But tips? You are basically creating them from scratch. By the time you are done refining the edges theyre too thin to last without going really heavy at the joint and over the tip with either builder gel or acrylic or polygel. And whatever you use to reinforce them is going to have to be hand-filed instead of using a nail drill because these melt, even at the lowest speed. This is why I mostly use nail forms and uv gel instead of tips -- they file like natural nails, rarely ever fall off and I can leave them on till they grow out. Still, its good to have some falsies for emergencies. Walmart actually has a quite decent selection if you have time to ship to home or ship to store. In an emergency, both iron on seam tape and tea bag material work to temporarily create a long fake tip if you apply them with nail or superglue, then coat with repeated layers of glue mixed with talc. (Be sure to cut your patch considerably longer than the nail length you desire so you can pinch free the end into a curve as the glued section is drying). They should last long enough for your order to arrive at Walmart. (contrary to some Youtube videos, using clear non-uv polish mixed with corn starch doesnt last more than a couple of days. Glue is harder than regular polish and talc is harder than starch). See more

I ordered the short square ones via the grocery pick-up option and I sort of the nails out and get everything I was supposed to and then I open the glue and nothing came out.
