I bought Xyzal the first time last year. I have tremendous allergies. I found this to be the most effective allergy meds Ive ever used. I have used every OTC remedy and they all failed to accommodate all my symptoms. This product controls the following: sneezing, runny nose, itchy eyes, scratchy throat ascwell as nasal congestion. I do complete yard work every week so Im outside a lot. This product is great. I absolutely recommend this anyone who is bothered by allergies. I bought the 80 count bottle at the beginning of spring and religiously took it every night. I have had NO allergy symptoms for nearly 3 months. I started taking it before my symptoms flared for the summer/fall. I figured maybe this allergy season wasnt so bad cuz I typically still have an itchy nose or a day when my symptoms break thru the medication. Then my pills ran out and I neglected to get more. By the second day without xysal, in august, my allergies got to the point that no medication was going to be able to tame it with the first dose. I ran out immediately to get more xyzal and I felt it working within the first hour!!!! The next morning I felt allergy free once again. I have not had this kind of symptom relief since I was a kid and actifed was allowed to be sold. But xyzal is even better because its 24 hour, I dont feel its cycles of ramping up and down, and it doesnt make me drowsy. See more

With indoor and outdoor allergy symptoms such as sneezing; itchy, watery eyes; runny nose; itchy nose or throat, , I was miserable. I love that Xyzal works fast and keeps working for a full 24 hours. Since my allergies are worse at night when I am laying down, it is super convenient that I take Xyzal at night for quick relief, and wake up still feeling great. I used to take other allergy medications, but they would just make me tired mid-day, would never relieve symptoms completely, and stop working as soon as you thought relief was coming. I struggle a lot with seasonal allergies, especially during Spring. XYZAL is great because it relieves itchy, watery eyes; sneezing; runny nose; and itchy nose and throat. It starts working in just 60 minutes and lasts a full 24 hours. Plus, it is only one pill that will get you through all day! You should be sure to take XYZAL in the evening so it can start working as you sleep and you can wake feeling rested and refreshed. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

When my prescription levocetirizine became an over-the-counter drug I switched to Xyzal. I bought a 10 pill package to try it and while the medication works well I wont be buying it again. The blister package was so difficult to open that Im not going to buy more. Im going back to my old OTC medication that comes in a bottle!
