We recently traveled to San Antonio and enjoyed a little too much Mexican food and snacks. This Pepto-Bismol Ultra Liquid was a lifesaver. I have been using Pepto since I was a kid and this new Ultra works much quicker. The active ingredient Bismuth Subsalicylate helps soothe all kinds of stomach problems including sour stomach, heartburn, gas, nausea, diarrhea and that uncomfortable full feeling. It coats your stomach going down and bringing quick relief. Can be taken every 30 minutes until your symptoms resolve. Read instructions carefully especially involving children. I like having the tablets on hand for travel, but at home, I prefer to use the liquid Pepto Bismol. I think the liquid begins to work faster and although it can be chalky going down, it doesnt have the chalky residue leftover. We keep the XL bottle (original flavor) on hand because someone is always having an upset stomach or heartburn around my house and it works well for both. I am glad I had this in my medicine cabinet. It works just as advertised. It cured my nausea and diarrhea with just a couple of doses. I think this product works better than the pepto I had before. Im getting a second bottle to keep at work! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Pepto-Bismol is my go-to medicine whenever I have any stomach issues. If Im nauseated, have diarrhea, upset stomach. It really helps me get through it all. I actually really like the flavor, which I know is weird. Ive just always liked the powdery flavor. Its kind of comforting to me, actually. I use the little measuring cup it comes with when I have any issues and I eventually feel better. It doesnt take too long for me. It also depends on how bad my issues are, but I do feel relief.
