What we love about the Equate Power Oral Care Kit is the toothbrush works really good! It comes with a battery (replaceable) and the top portion is round and spins to clean your teeth. The kit is great it has 2 extra power heads, a interdental power arm that holds the floss heads there are 21 of those included, the sulcus tips and the gum stimulator. This kit has all the things needed for a healthy oral routine. I recommend it for all ages. The only problem I had was opening the package.

Dont let the low bargain price fool you into thinking this is a cheap or poorly made product as that is not the case at all. Instead it is a great deal for not only the power brush but the entire oral care kit included. My dentist recommended I use an electric toothbrush to do a better job brushing and flossing so I chose this kit made by Equate which is the bargain priced brand at Walmart. Included in the kit is the power brush which already had the necessary 2 "AA" batteries installed. It also has 3 replaceable brush heads along with a power arm which houses the accessory tools. You also will get 21 floss heads to clean in between teeth. Ive had electric toothbrushes before and honestly did not care much for them so this was a pleasant surprise. I didnt like the loud noises from the former brushes and I found they were messy. They were also too strong and would bounce around hitting my teeth in almost a violent way. This new brush makes a lighter humming sound and feels like a gentle vibration. There are actually 2 power heads on the brush. The top brush goes in a round motion to clean and brush. The lower brush moves back and forth to remove the plaque and help clean between your teeth. I found I didnt need to move the brush around much at all. I simply hold it on the tooth and let the brush do all the work. Now I understand why these brushes do a better job. I also like the easy on and off switch and the soft grips on the handle to hold the brush. The base is heavy and wide making it stand upright to store. This toothbrush along with all of its positive features and cleaning power proves there is no need to buy expensive models to get a good quality clean. See more

I am reviewing the Equate Power Oral Care Kit. It comes with everything you need. It comes with a small base that includes the batteries. It takes two AA batteries. I am surprised they included the batteries because the product is really inexpensive. That is a plus in my opinion. Most electric toothbrushes come on large bases that take up a lot of space. This one does not. I like that too. The batteries are located in the small base at the bottom of the toothbrush. The toothbrush can stand upright on the base. You do not have to lay it down on the side of the sink. It comes with two replacement dual motion brush heads. The top bristles are in a circular pattern and also move in a circular pattern to clean each tooth individually. The bottom bristles are lined up kind of in a wave pattern and they move back and forth to help break up plaque and remove particles between the teeth. To get the most out of this toothbrush take your time. First, use the top bristles and then the bottom ones. This is my opinion. You change the tools by making sure the handle is turned off. Grasp the tool of your choice at the base of the collar and lift up. Replace whatever tool you want to use by pushing it back down into the handle. I used the flosser and the string that comes with this product will not go in between my teeth. Everyone is different. I have only found one type that will work for me. They should have put empty flossers in it and you add your own string to it. The brushes work very well. They feel really good on the teeth and feel like they do an excellent job. The gum stimulator hurts. It doesnt feel like rubber. It feels like it is plastic. It is hard and it hurts your gums. The two sulcus tips that you are supposed to use to get in between your teeth to remove particles and along the gums hurt your gums. The little white bristles are hard. I cant see anyone using it. I only gave it three stars because the three brush heads are all that is usable. They should just leave out all of the extras. Otherwise, I would have given it five stars. The toothbrush and heads are great. Because of the price I still recommend this product. See more

The equate dual motion power toothbrush oral care kit comes with many different tools that allow for not only advanced brushing, but also deep cleaning. It comes with a handle, three brush heads, one interdental power arm, one gum stimulator, two sulcus tips, and twenty-one floss heads. First off, I was impressed with how much better my teeth feel after brushing with this automatic brush rather than a manual one. The rotating and vibrating head feels like it is reaching every crack and crevice of my teeth. In regards to operating the brush, the instructions were quite straightforward and did not confuse me in the slightest. However, I must say that I found it lacking in instructions for the many tools. Though it did name the tools and stated what each tool was supposed to be used for, it did not really tell me how to use them. I found the floss head actually pretty difficult to use even though I have some gaps between my teeth. It also was not entirely clear as to whether I was supposed to have the power turned on while using certain tools, or if that was only for the brush head. I feel it may be a little weird to have it turned on when trying to floss, and I do not think it specified whether I should or should not. So a little instruction on each tool and how they are used specifically would be nice. I also wish the floss was waxed because I feel like it would feel better on my gums. Apart from that, I like the brush head and I love that it came with batteries as well so that I did not have to run out and buy some just to try the product. I also enjoy that the overall package did indeed come with many tools and you just cannot beat that! See more

I noticed long ago that the least expensive electric toothbrush worked far better than the most expensive "manual" toothbrush for me. A person can only brush so many times yet, for a machine, brushing each tooth dozens of times is a done easily in seconds. So Ive been using this toothbrush, the flossing attachments, the spiral brushes along my gum line, and the silicon tip like a toothpick. To switch between different attachments, you take the utility arm off, and slide the collar, at the base, downward, sliding the metal lock, down and out of each flosser, spiral brush, or silicone pick, releasing it for easy removal. I should note that the flossers twist to a wide range of angles, to make flossing, with or without the vibrations, easier than ever. It is working very well to get my teeth really clean in several ways. Checking more carefully now, I can see that some plaque I had is gone, and my gums look noticeably healthier. The electric brush has two different movements which seem to help to vibrate the plaque away. The top spins back and forth, which Ive read is the most effective movement for cleaning teeth. The base though, seems equally effective, by going back and forth, sideways, and also extends the reach of the brush, so youre actually brushing more of your teeth, better and quicker. See more
