Ive wanted an electric toothbrush for a while. Philips Sonicare was recommended by my dental hygienist. I did however do my homework. This toothbrush has lived up to expectations. I love the 2 minute timer that reminds you to move to the next quadrant every 30 seconds. I appreciate not having to charge it everyday. The charge lasts about 3 weeks, which is great for short trips, Overall its a great product.

My wife and I have been using Sonicare products since 2000, and have the excellent dental checkups to validate their effectiveness. I recently purchased this model, because the discounted price was too good to pass up. Overall, it does the job in typical Sonicare fashion. The only real con with this model is a thinner handle that can be a bit slippery. Hopefully this can be improved in the future.

This unit is absolutely the best electric toothbrush Ive ever had. The recharging part is simple. I love the two beep signal to let one know its plugged in the charger correctly and its easy to do. The brush has a beep/neutral mode when you press too hard which is nice. It really cleans wo the usual pressing into the teeth one does w a manual one. It fits into all the far reaches of the mouth and actually feels good on the gums. So far, it has performed wo incident and the brush part has not worn out. Although Ive not yet traveled w it, the brush protection cap is a nice feature. The only negative, which is easy to overcome, is when one accidentally touches the teeth w the arm, one feels a weird vibration. This is simply part of learning how to use it, not a flaw in design. If this unit holds up for a long time, I will surely buy it again. See more

I wish I could send this product back. We bought 2 to replace our older Phillips toothbrushes. The handle is very small in diameter and the brush is 1/2 the size of our prior model. Both design features make the product appear like it belongs in the hands of a child <than 10. I a=may pass it on to our grandchildren. We do not like the small handle or brush. The unit has features that make the brush stop brushing it just shuts off or stops. The electronic head feature reminds you when you need to change the brush head. Its cool but for us unpractical. We are very disappointed and have returned to our old brush. See more

Really like the way my whole mouth feels after using the Philips Sonicare ProtectiveClean 4100 Sonic electric toothbrush HX6816/01 Built-in pressure sensor. My teeth feel so clean, like Ive just had my teeth cleaned by the dental hygienist. This was a gift from my husband for Christmas, I had given him a Sonicare electric toothbrush for Christmas the previous year, both our check ups have been super since we started using them.
