Im am loving this mouthwash and its non harsh taste. My breath feels so fresh I wish it stayed like that all day. I really think its awesome how it not just helps prevent cavities but it gives me a whiter smile. I received a free 16 Fl. Oz sample in exchange for an honest review. My first reaction to this product was the packaging. It looks great! The bright white bottle contrasts with the dark blue and silver label, giving it a crispy clean look. I also liked the shape of the bottle; its almost a diamond shape and it really draws your eyes in. Crest Pro-Health Advanced with Extra Whitening claims to kill bad breath, provide a whiter smile in 7 days, help prevent cavities, strengthen enamel, and freshen breath. Because I cant verify that this product actually helped the overall health of my mouth (I never went to the dentist to have them check my teeth during my use of this product), I cant really attest to that. I used the mouthwash for a little over a week. Here are some pros and cons. Pros: The mouthwash is not overpowering. It has a light mint flavor that tastes good but doesnt complete overwhelm your senses. There is NO burn! Nada, zilch, zero. This was by far the best part of this mouthwash in my opinion. It is the exact reason I hate using mouthwash. Cons: While swishing, it creates this foaming effect. I hated it. It made me gag. The mouthwash almost feels thick, and it made my teeth feel strange...like it was stuck to my teeth. One "pro" that I had was that it didnt have an overwhelming taste. The con to this is that it doesnt leave you with fresh breath for very long. Finally, I saw no difference in the whiteness of my teeth after my trial period. I did take pictures, but I couldnt tell a difference, so there was no point in me sharing them. Overall, Crest Pro-Health Advanced is a decent mouthwash. It does its job adequately, but it was nothing special. I wouldnt necessarily recommend this to friends, but I would be a good choice for somebody that prefers a lighter flavored mouthwash (if they can get past the foaming action). Im so glad I got the chance to try the Crest Pro-Health Advanced Mouthwash+Extra Whitening, because Im hooked! This mouthwash gives an amazing clean, minty fresh feeling, and without the burn most other mouthwashes have. The lack of burn makes it so you can actually use it the entire recommended time, without having to spit it out early because it hurts too much. Because of this, you actually get 100% of the benefits! You can even feel it fizz a bit while using it, so you know its working! I was a little bit hesistant about the whitening claim, but after using it for a bit, my teeth look and feel stronger, cleaner, and whiter than I ever remember!
