I loved the old formula. I kept thinking I bought the wrong version and have been trying to find the old one.. no luck. This version tastes weird and does not get my teeth as deeply clean. It tingles alot but my gums and teeth do not feel as polished.

I had used Advanced Deep Clean for many years and thought this was the same thing. It is totally not. The taste is awful - it tastes much stronger of artificial sweetener or something. The big difference is that my teeth dont feel clean after using it. The old version left my teeth feeling cleaner than other other toothpaste Ive used. This one does not seem to clean anywhere near as well. I was a little surprised by the average rating. It was over 4 stars for a product that was clearly much worse than its predecessor. How could that be? Reading the reviews, there was a clear distinction between people who received it for free, and those who did not. The free sample reviews averaged about 4.5, and were the majority of the reviews. The people who paid for the product were averaging about 1.5 stars. If you are a consumer, do not buy this product - it is not very good. If you are the company, please either revert to the previous product, or give further evidence that this product is not as bad as I think it is. Either way, Im surprised that in this day and age with all the consumer testing you do that this made it to consumers - this is not a good product. See more

I have been a Colgate user for the past 20 years. Loved the old version of the Deep Clean toothpaste. I cannot use the new version. After two uses I had extreme mouth sensitivity, my gums and lips felt dried out and my whole mouth was in pain. After checking that all of the Colgate total products are now "SF" i bought a Crest toothpaste and my mouth feels normal again. Not as good, clean and fresh as the old Deep Clean though. I will not buy this new product for my daughters either so you have lost 3 customers with the product change. See more

Im not only a dentist, but a regular user of this specific toothpaste and I can only tell you that you should go back to the same formula because it was amazing for advanced whitening. Im now considering Crest although I do not like it at all. Thank you very much.

Did anyone else have a problem with this toothpaste burn the skin around the mouth and chin. The tp is so messy when brushing with my Sonicare it would leak onto my face. I know have chemical burns on my face. Needless to say Ive stop using this product and wouldnt recommend it to anyone else.
