Ive used the Colgate Total Whitening for ages and I LOVED the taste of it, so I never switched. Well, I went to buy a new tube recently, and I found this stuff. It looked the same as what I normally use, but it is NOT! It doesnt say anything about a new flavor on the box, only on the tube. The new flavor is horrible and leaves my mouth tasting rotten after a couple of hours. I will never buy it again, and Im throwing away the stuff I have left.

Ive been using the Colgate Total Advanced Whitening paste for as long as I can remember. This new "improved" flavor is absolutely disgusting. On top of a terrible taste, it makes my mouth feel gritty and dry. I dread brushing my teeth with this trash. Looks like Ill be having to make a brand change. You all ruined a good thing. It wasnt broken and didnt need fixing.

Ive been using Colgate Total since the product was first introduced. No other toothpaste has kept my teeth feeling clean as long as Total. However, the new flavor tastes like metal, and it lasts for hours. Its disgusting. Its hard to imagine that my mouth feels clean when it tastes like Ive been sucking on pennies.

Wasnt aware that Colgate changed their Total paste line - this new flavor is HORRIBLE! Had same burning effect but on the roof of mouth. There was NOTHING wrong with the previous Total paste - especially since it was still approved by ADA...THIS garbage is not! As if the company knew no one would want to buy the "wonderful new flavor/formula", they kept the design on the box practically the same! What happened to giving consumers choices? We loved the old formula just fine!

Why, oh why, did you try to fix something that definitely wasnt broken? What used to be a fresh, minty, clean-mouth experience has turned into a foul-tasting, dry and dirty-feeling ordeal. I bought a tube, not realizing it was a "new flavor" (now I know why you didnt describe the flavor beyond "new"). I thought Ok, I just grabbed the wrong package. Bought a MULTI pack of what looked like was my normal go-to, only to find out that the boxes dont display the "new flavor" warning - only the tube inside. Now I have six tubes of trash, and am on the hunt for another brand of toothpaste that actually makes my mouth feel cleaner than before I started. A real bummer ... we have been a Colgate loyal family since my grandma used your tooth powder in the early 1900s. 112 years of brand loyalty spit down the sink, I guess. See more
