I am very happy, after using this great product for two weeks I have noticed that my teeth and gums are not as sensitive as they were before . Also has a fresh taste and leaves my mouth feeling very clean and fresh. I will be making this something I purchase regularly now.

I know about novamin (the main ingredient in this toothpaste) and know what it can do to the teeth but for some odd reason Sensodyne decided to put too little of it (~5%) which is not enough for it to have any real effect on your teeth. Normally one needs at least 9% before novamin can be of any use. For those who dont know, although you may think fluoride is what helps your teeth it isnt the only material that is needed for the process of remineralization to occur. There must be ample supply of calcium and phosphate in the saliva. Novamin does a clever thing by not only supplying those needed two but also raises your saliva pH at a high enough level t o start the rejuvenation process. Fluroide when added to the mix is used in place of a thing called hydroxl which makes your teeth stronger. The problem with adding fluoride with novamin is that the calcium and fluroide tend to interact making the use of it in your mouth less effective which was nice that this paste understood this and did not do the no no by providing sodium fluroide but the more stable sodium monoflurophosphate so that novamin and fluroide could co-exist in the tube. Youd be surprised how many shops dont know this. So my key complaint about this paste is that the lack of novamin (above 9%) in each tube. If it increases this amount this would get a 5 star highest rating. But because it is only 5% i cant in good concious recommend it. See more

I am the type who never buys other brands. I usually stick to what I know. I will say that I was pleasantly surprised. I wasnt as foamy as other brands but I had a nice fresh feeling after I used it and it lasted all day. I dont know if I would "switch" but it has definitely become an option.

I use to use Dr. Collins in the US and it had the NOVAMIN and it worked for my sensitive teeth. I definitely saw healing of fine hairline fractures of my front teeth had no expectation of this, but there it is. Unfortunately, its no longer available bc Novamin has been forced off the market by the FDA, then GSK bought out Novamin and put it into their Sensodyne products. Its in the same percentage as the toothpaste I used previously, Dr. Collins, at 5% from what Ive read online. Well, it seems this Sensodyne still works for me. Only, I have to purchase it in Canada as its not in the US Sensodyne. Boo. But yay for Canadians. Its also in the UK product. For $6, its worth trying out to see if this works for you. See more

I have just started using Sensodyne toothpaste. It is really to soon for me to judge. I have not finished my first tube but so far I am pleased with the way it cleans and makes my teeth feel. Looking forward to good results when my next dental visit is du
